I have used Sendle with good results so far  , Ive  been dropping off parcels at the local Repco store (collection Hub) until recently advised by store manager they are no longer  processing parcels  .So i booked my next mail out as pick ups.  I have now 7 parcels sitting at my front door been there for 3 days  . I checked the tracking this morning and all have "attempted pick up unsucessful . There is no way to contact Sendle cant find any links on eBay ,not sure how to cancel and resend with Aust post ..Thanks

Re: SENDLE what is going on in Victoria ?

I'm not sure about sendle as such but I think the post is going through a bit of a peak crisis right at the moment. I was reading on the Auspost website that interstate parcels etc are being held back for 3 days from Vic to give Vic time to play catch up with some of the current backlog. Letter mail is now officially being delivered only every second day.

I have a couple of parcels caught up in this, delivery was expected 24-26th but tracking now just has a red banner saying delayed.

I would not be surprised if Sendle is having some problems keeping up at the moment too. Probably all the courier companies are under unusual pressure. I have been contemplating buying a batch of the sendle satchels as the service seems a fraction cheaper for some things but I did see on their website that they were mentioning delays too. I'd be interested to hear about how you eventually get on with them.

GPS maps have been around for at least 15 years that I can think of

Current volume of deliveries being an issue is a fair comment, EXCEPT that in the case of Fastway their delivery issues were around long before COVID-19 ever raised its ugly head.

Aramex do not pay the contractors directly at all - they have a contract in place with the parent company.  It is up to the individual companies to determine what they pay their delivery drivers.

The same business modell that is used by AusPost

Aramex is Fastway, the parent company. As such the drivers' contracts are with Aramex.

Sendle is the broker, who don't determine how much drivers are paid. They just take their cut off the top.

If the drivers are working for Fastway their contracts will be with Fastway, not the parent company/head office Aramex.

But Fastway IS Aramex.

Either way, my point is valid. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
