Sales data of product with total qty sold

Hello Everyone,

I am not sure if this is possible, but what I am after is SALES DATA in Excel format.

What I need to know is for a Month, say March 2018, I need to know the qty of each product sold and for its average price.

or something like this.

basically, every one of my products has a completely different profit amount.

some products, I make $1.50 other products I make $1.75, some products, I might even make

-$1.00 (Yes, negative), some I might make $5.00...

So I am trying to work out in a month,

what actual profit I made for each product.

Can I do this with an Ebay downloadable CSV?

Are there any Ebay tools that can help me with this?

Thanks in advance for any help here.

Short answer is no, there's no ebay report to give you that data.

Even when you download you invoice it won't tell you SKU's so that makes it tough.

You really need an external database containing the data you want that you'd maintain yourself.

There are 3rd party tools that can help - I think maybe QuickBooks can interface with eBay?

If you have your own website that feeds product data to eBay you may be able to analyse that way.

(I know Magento with the M2EPro plugin and a reports package is capable of doing what you want).

Alternatively, you could use a spreadsheet that searches your sales titles off the invoice and matches against a worksheet with product data.

That's pretty much how I do it.

Ok, Thankyou for the advice,

I did find an alternative way,

Click, Performance, then click Sales.

You can only view last 2-3 months only, but thats ok.

Im going to try copy and pasting that into excel then work on that.

I will probably get an excel genius to write some macros for me aswell.

Thanks.

My pleasure.

Another method occured to me:

Your PayPal Complete Sales report is quite useful.

They have a new system in place now where you can select the desired fields to create your own report.

There is a link back to the old reporting system which is very complete.

I haven't fully the new system yet as I'm still using the old report but it will be retired soon.

Always something new to learn lol.
