Sales have hit a Wall

I have been a regular seller on e-bay since 2000 (yep 13 years) and I have never seen sales so critically low. The lack of sales combined with the increase in e-bay fees / paypal fees etc looks like after all these years time to finish up with with ebay and back to selling at the local weekend markets.

Re: Sales have hit a Wall

I suggest if anyone is concerned about a drop or stop in sales....and you don't believe that recent price rises by Austr Post are to blame....check out and read discussion threads on USA ebay site in Technical Issues 'EBay has serious server probs....' http://forums.ebay.com/db2/topic/Technical-Issues/Ebay-Has-Seriouse/5200083417?start=2784

and also on the ebay UK site , under Selling on Ebay in Business Seller Boards :

'Switched OFF again...................'

http://community.ebay.co.uk/topic/Business-Seller-Board/Switched/18000498295

or simply read on another discussion board in here

' I asked Ebay what new changes have damaged my sales...and they responded...'

what does it matter if we tell you fitzroy (but actually there are none better)

however, stop and think, if you haven't ever heard of them, how many buyers do you reckon have heard of them? or shop there?

Re: Sales have hit a Wall

it is not that we dont know the other selling sites, fitzroy, it is just that it is against ebay Board Rules to post the names of other businesses, these boards are not allowed to be used to advertise other websites or businesses.

but dont worry you are not missing out on much, a quick google search should enable you to find the other australian listing site

Re: Sales have hit a Wall

Sorry have not read the rules and dont want to. I see Trading Post has free listing for items under $500 and they are listed for 12 months or until sold. Has anyone tried them?

Well don't be surprised if you are suspended by ebay for flouting board policy which you have been advised of by several people.

I'm sorry I didn't know that free speech was banned here.

But its ok for some sellers to sell fake items and even when they are reported to E-bay, nothing is done. You see many buyers being ripped off, so thats ok? I feel sorry for some buyers losing money on buying fake items and the sellers make good profits.

free speech is banned everywhere in australia, where it contravenes the law or rules within the parameters of where you 'speak'

eBay own this space, you are free to speak here, within the guidelines you agreed to when signing up with eBay.
