Scam !!! How do I convince ebay?

Sold a leather jacket few weeks back from my other account; then a return request opened, wrong size / doesn't fit blah blah blah you know the drill.

Buyers seems to be a new comer with only 3 feedback scores; since sizing is clearly stated in my listing, I believe she must have missed it, you know, being new to ebay and all.

I tried to work things out with her but no luck, so I accepted return.

Now parcel arrived my place, guess what's in there?

A cheap and nasty shirt, not the jacket I sent her earlier.

I think keep communicating with this scammer is not going to have any result, so the only way left is to contact ebay, isn't it?

But how do I convince them about this? How do I proof that the buyer didn't really return the correct item?

The parcel was fully traceable, and I signed for it....

Now what I do...

Help.

Re: Scam !!! How do I convince ebay?

when on earth are we going to get an ebay CEO that actually knows how business works, and brings back fairness for all.

The stupid MBG should be removed. The negative feedback button should be returned for sellers to use against buyers that deserve it.

And don't let me get started on the defects thingy

Ebay used to be a fair place to trade. Buyers and sellers knew where they stood, now sellers are constantly wondering which buyer is going to rip them off.

Ebay is supposed to be a just platform that brings buyers and sellers together. Now it not only assists the scammers, its also both judge and executioner.

I generally agree Casbit...

But the ability for a seller to use NEG against a buyer was being misued by sellers in the past and that is why they took it away.

So its more of a feel-good button for sellers really. But in itself does no good to protect other sellers from misbehaving buyers.

If they did bring it back I would also want to see some mechanism in place something like the UPI case where a seller can set up options to block buyers who have accrued, say, 2 or more NEGs in the past 12-months or something like that.

Or perhaps themselves have issued other sellers 2 or more NEGs in the past 12-months.

The fact that a buyer has NEGs against their name cannot be seen by a seller until after they have bought and paid for a BIN item.

And then you have no option but to mail out their item and sweat waiting for that next big red dot for you.
