Second Chance

Whenever I send a buyer a second chance they have do make immediate payment to take up the offer. The problem is that shipping is added as well and in most cases the buyers have been sent multiple second chance offers. They would prefer combined shipping which I am happy to do. However if they have to make immediate payment then they end up paying shipping for each item and I have to go and refund through paypal. 

Is there a way to buy second chance offers but not pay until I do a final invoice?

Have you tried going into your settings and turning off IPR ?

Yes, I have IPR turned off and Buy It Now listings dont require immediate payment, allowing me to combine shipping for buyers.

However second chance offers being sent out require immediate payment if they are accepted. 

Doing some research it seems that this is an ebay rule now and there is no way around it. Some have suggested turning on local pickup option and this will allow them to BIN but not have to make immediate payment. Not sure if it will work but I shall try it.
