Buyers CAN'T delete postage. The only way they can pay without postage is if you offer local pickup and they select that. And that will be noted on the sale message from eBay.
If they don't respond to ONE message asking for relevant details, cancel using 'problem with buyer's address'. Don't enter into any arguments/negotiations/BS. Cancel, relist and block them.

Probably nothing to do with the buyer.
Just had a member question the price of an item, wanted to verify before purchase. Checked listing $20 item, then postage, what do I see Free 4 Day Postage. So I am going to ship the item express and free of charge. Now this was definitely not offered by me, I am not in an area covered by express post, do not offer express services and do not guarantee any delivery timeframe.

If you use Australia Post and eBay reckons it will only take 4 days they put that bullsht timeframe on. Not much you can do to stop it except increase your reported handling time.
Last time I ordered something with "4 day postage" it took 3 weeks to reach me from Sydney( which usually only takes 4 days)

Yes, if you cancel the order you will have to refund them, but if they haven't responded to your message, then at least a cancellation will get you your fees back.

Yes it's been done. The problem arises, due to me listing on US Ebay & not Australian ebay. I will not be doing that again, it's too difficult & stressfull. Regards Mike
