5000W LF Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter DC 24V to AC 240V/LCD/Charger/UPS
No item no available This is a bidding item. It seems the seller is bidding himself to bring up the price. Is this Ebays policy ???
Thanks
Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang, can you post the item number of the listing? You can find that just above the description, in really small print, in the actual listing, on the right hand side.

What is the item number. Do not use the seller ID.

Is it this seller? 281558241446 If so, all they have done is make their listing private. Occasionally it can mean the seller is using other accounts to increase the price of his auctions (shill bidding), but that's not always the case. Most genuine sellers will do it so the item doesn't show up in the buyers feedback. It common for sellers with sensitive listings, like lacy underwear or adult related products.

It's a private auction with 5-8 bidders so how can you tell if it's shill bidding??

There are several items with that title from the same seller.
What makes you think the seller is bidding on his own items?

You can't. Read my post again. I wasn't suggesting that seller was shill bidding, I said occasionally, that's why some sellers will make their listings private.....alomg with the other reasons I gave.
Plenty of sellers make their listings private as a matter of course, because that's what they want to do, not because they are up to no good. Long term sellers might still make their listings private because that's what they've always done, back from the days where bidders names weren't made anonymous like they are now.

Why bother with it ?? To me it looks like just another dodgy Chinese seller anyway.

Taiwan.
Private listing for goods not usually sold using private listing.
Not the best seller performance (neutrals + negatives + revised feedback tally + post & handling DSRs in context of volume sold)
Join the dots ....
I sure as heck would not bid.
