Seller sends threatening private email

l recently bought an item and was sent the wrong item, and seems the seller is doing this alot, plus their previous id did the same thing l found after some hunting., l have written to Ebay notifying them of this seller and the threatening email, but l worry about people like this, l suppose its like walking on a tree branch, oneday it will break.

Ebay automatically refunded me for the purchase when l notified them of the wrong item,

The seller sent me a private Paypal request for the amount of $14.00

l cancelled the request.

The the seller sent me this...no other message just the subject line of

Expect a hairy debt collector

Re: Seller sends threatening private email

I've got a big Huntsman on my loungeroom wall at the moment. She's been scooting around the house for weeks. Mr Tippy nudged me awake the other morning and pointed. I looked behind my head and she was on the wall behind me, only a couple of inches from my head. She's not hurting anyone. I guess I could always package her up and send her to the OP.

Re: Seller sends threatening private email

I enjoy having the huntsman and wolf spiders around the place as well Tippy, I pass on the redbacks though.

With one the size of that one in the link my mouse problem would be solved quick-smart.......probably never to return............

Re: Seller sends threatening private email

l was about to offer to return the item when l got the email so l didn't bother,

there is only so much time you can waste on things...

maybe l should send him the hairy spider???

l just looked at the web link, we have lots of them here at our place,

why anyone would think that is a big one l have no idea,

we come across lot of them cutting wood for the winter wood stove.

Re: Seller sends threatening private email

I would do as designers suggested.

I would write and say the item was not the one you ordered, you were sent the wrong thing and that was not your mistake, it was theirs.

Tell them you are perfectly willing to return the incorrect item but they need to provide return postage cost first.

Re: Seller sends threatening private email

Goodness me, l have another lunatic sending me messages, l am selling a set of sheets, l get a message from a person who really is away with the fairies.... l replied to the first message, but l cant get rid of them, l have told ebay about it and the follow up messages l am getting, which are just taunting one liners, but why on earth is it impossible to just block someone from contacting me?

Re: Seller sends threatening private email

It's hard to completely block their communications, but just add them to your blocked list so they cannot actually purchase.

Save yourself the hassle in the long run if you're not feeling comfortable with their level of questioning.
