Time and again ebay, and ebay support has failed sellers in the following:
1. Not properly investigating, and neglecting facts.
2. EBay does not facilitate video evidence. This leads to fraudulent claims by some buyers resulting in forcible refunds by the seller and monetary loss to the seller.
3. That buyers continue to receive greater support at tge expense of innocent t sellers and this inquality must be addressed and rectified.
4. There is no availability for sellers to lodge complaints against rude and incompetent ebay support agents.
Ebay support must not be the final arbiters by arbitrarily passing judgement on sellers without appeal.

There is an appeal process, but you have to upload NEW evidence, or it won't be considered.

Couldn't agree more. I feel like buyers are becoming more and more aware of this and using it to their advantage. There are some requests put in that I am convinced are a scam but I know it's not worth my time and effort bothering to respond so I just refund them. The inability for Sellers to post negative feedback is an absolute disgrace.

And add to that not being able to get comments removed. I've sold an item as faulty and for parts only and received negative feedback for it being faulty, not removed. I've had a competitor buy one of my products, post negative feedback suggesting buyers should seek out other sellers (them presumably) then DM me admitting to doing it. Not removed. I've had completely irrelevant negative feedback that was very obviously meant for someone else. Not removed. Absolutely ridiculous.

How did your "legal recourse" against eBay go ?
"Time again" it seems that is always sellers who choose to ignore policies that complain the most.

Negative feedback for buyers is ultimately useless. A seller needs to nurture their account overtime, build up feedback and such. A buyer could spin up a new account, scam a seller, rinse, repeat. Nothing prevents a person creating any number of accounts so a genuine scammer isn't remotely affected by negative feedback

That doesn't explain the 18 negs you've received for the last 12 months, and you've been very lucky with the 31 neutrals, I'd say.

I have appealed and was rejected without reasons.

I most part I disagree with you. There's been an increase I fraudulent claims by buyers forcing sellers to refund them. Another issue is having no real unbiased, evidence based, appeal process. Appeals are handled by the same outsourced agents (mostly Phillipinos) and due to their huge workload they fail to read see, or investigate the evidence and merely find it easier to be subjected and side with buyers. EBay must understand that without sellers there would be no buyers and ebay would perish in the flames of bankruptcy.

The problem with feedback is that ebay encourages buyers to give feedback with email reminders as they do with sellers. This has to stop. I prefer no feedback at all!
