How to mark an item as received by a customer . When no tracking was used , but the item was received by customer .

Did you mark as ‘sent’?

Yes , but without tracking ( eg large heavy freight items ) the item can’t be marked as received . We sellers just have to wait and hope we get paid . It seem like they need to add a “ mark as received by customer “ button . 👍

It is not up to the seller to decide if the buyer has received the item or not
Nor that the buyer actually got what they paid for, and were happy with the item
Can you imagine how many dodgy sellers would use that as a way to scam more than they already do?
If there was no tracking how can the seller prove the item was received?
Freight would surely provide some kind of confirmation it was delivered to the buyer, who at something that sold for thousands of dollars would have had to sign for it
Especially when no feedback has been left by the buyer
Have you indeed completed sign up to Managed Payments and been verified to sell?

I'm guessing maybe the buyer has let you know they received it in messages?
Otherwise, you'd have no way to know.
Ebay can't afford to let sellers just mark items as received. Anytime I as a buyer have had that show has been with tracking.
I'm guessing that if you sell something and a month passes without the buyer opening a claim for item not received, ebay will assume all is well and you will eventually get paid then. New sellers need to wait a month in any case.
The buyer might also leave positive feedback, but that is optional.

Many, many, many years ago a buyer could marked an item as received if no tracking was used. The seller could not do it.
