Selling Manager Pro - Sold items showing as Active

Is anyone else having sold items show up as 'Active' on Selling Manager Pro?

I've contacted eBay support for the third time today (the problem has occured over a few weeks).  My buyers can't see these 'Active/Sold' listings but it is making managing our listings difficult and confusing.

Am interested to hear if it is a one-off thing for my account or a widespread problem.

Sounds like you've activated the out of stock feature, which keeps listings active but invisible when the quantity reaches (or is revised to) 0, so that sales history etc can be maintained.

You can switch it off in site preferences so that the listings will end when sold out instead.

Thank you so much!  Will give that a try.  I wonder why the eBay staff didn't think of that?

There are some pretty seriously experienced people here on these forums.

And the CSR's are not always the sharpest tool in the shed.

They probably did, but CS is less about help and more about what basically amounts to "oh that problem? don't worry, it doesn't actually exist", or "oh that function? don't worry, that's the way it's supposed to work", and there the conversation ends. Smiley LOL

Hope it helps, though. 🙂
