Just doing taking some photos earlier and noticed two book and cassette packs are similiar
they are both brand new and have the same book, but one has a white cassette and one has a blue cassette.
Does this mean I can list both seperately at the same time since the cassette colour is different?

Put in the title the color and change some words so they are not looking identical to each other.
Different title and different photos will make them seen as 2 different items.

They are two different items - one has a white cassette and one blue.

For a very minor cosmetic difference, I would probably just have the one listing for both. That is, if the packaging, the content of the cassette and the book are identical in every other way, as there would be no great benefit from two listings (eg anyone looking for that product probably won't use white or blue cassette as a search term, and I'd presume that perhaps if given a choice people may have a preference, but without it I doubt anyone would really care). I'd take a photo of one, and have a note in the listing letting people know that the cassette colour varies.
If they aren't identical in every other way, there would be other things you could use as differences - eg publishers, book illustrators, if the story is narrated by different people on the cassette etc

why not, they are different

why not, they are different
difference in colour as the ONLY difference is not sufficient for ebays duplicate listing policy.

Not sure why you would want to pay for two listings anyway bit if you list them as one listing make sure you put it in large letters that casette colour may vary.

It's only 5 cents for the listing, so I stuck them both up but had white tape in one title and blue tape in the other
But all 7 got sold within a few hours yesterday anyway so was worth it!
