So over Non Paying Bidders

Not selling all that much recently, but OMG, the number of non-payers is ridiculous. At least one or two a week. Now when you only sell a few items each week it’s beyond a joke.

as a seller, if you do the wrong thing (and even when you do the right thing) you get punished, but dead beat non payers get away with it.

what peevs me even more is, I send a polite email asking if they wish to cancel the transaction, there’s no issue but could they let me know out of courtesy. But of course not. Plain rude!  Might start just listing BINs with immediate payment.

Excuse me ? But it's patently obviouse that it's eBay that's spoofing Sellers listings - only a naive fool wouldn't wake up. Sorry if I offend you but that's the cold truth here. They way I was set upon in this forum by eBay shills covering for the extortive disgusting and blatent scamming by eBay. Wake up people - eBay is stinking Gulag - run by the people who invented gulags.

Your issues, I suspect, are not platform related.

Hyperbole and profanity don't tend to lend credibility, even if you had a valid case. ONE non-paying buyer does not a conspiracy make, even for a conspiracy theorist.

I'm a buyer, not a seller. I'm not employed by eBay, nor do I think eBay is flawless, faultless and fantastic.

eBay is an online marketplace for sellers all over the world, and I use it when I wish to; I don't use it when I don't wish to. My spending on eBay used to be much greater than it is now, at least partly due to the changes in eBay.

However, none of that would justify me going into an expletive-laden frenzy on a public forum, letting my temper turn cartwheels and - powered by Vesuvius-like fury - attempt to obliterate eBeii with intemperate execration.

In particular, if the profanities were automatically filtered by repeated 🅱🅻🅴🅴🅿s, it would only serve to exacerbate any feeling of frustration.

(However, I loathe casual profanity. If you use the worst expletives in your vocabulary for a failed internet sale - for goodness' sake, what have you got left for those occasions when you accidentally chop off your hand? Get pulled into a dodgy-looking van by a chip-toothed stubble-faced villain who's licking his lips at the thought of torturing you? Global Financial Crisis? The Apocalypse?

If you logically explain what has happened, why you are upset, and ask about what some suggestions are about how to avoid this sort of thing from happening again, people here will be more than happy to help with ideas and recommendations and some shared experiences (while not turning this forum into a wailing wall, exactly). You could get constructive replies.

Instead, you're hitting out without sense or direction.

Do you want some suggestions and help? You only have to ask. (And stop accusing the community board members of being Fifth Columnists and so on.)

So you try and belittle me by saying im a foul mouthed heathen and your some kind of upper clase noble - yeah don't I know it. Some are more equal than others and other such nonsonse. At least I got some attention - it appers everyone elese is to kowtowed to even breath a hairs breath of ill towoard the holier than though eBay. LOL 

Not even one person like oh yeah I had this one non paying buyer who was real pain in the ass. Nope only shills defending eBay and trying to throw mud at my foul mouth. Why becsaue eBay is the non payering bidder spooffing millions of peoples listings. How dare you defend such blatent abuse !

I have had about 6 NPBs in 10 years and about 4000 sales. Why would your limited experience elicit any sympathy from me? Especially when you claim the reason is because the NPB is a migrant, set up by eBay to dud you? I'm assuming you're a full blood Australian Aborigine, though I doubt it; they tend to be more polite.

I work with eBay as is, not eBay as fantasised.

It's a tad over 5000.

Still only 6 NPBs though.

Feedback of 137 yet sold 5000 ? yeah ok but your a very plorific community member - I find that anomolous.

So you tell me you sold 5k but your profile says otherwise doenst it. Still not one person sympathising with the utter garbage sellers put up with here. I can see anyone with a genuine complaint like mine is just set upon by quasi staff from eBay - How do I know because I read other peoples complaints about non paying buyers who were imediatly rebuked and put in their place by some other 'member'. Then I see the people who complained simply went inactive around the same time. So it's clear some ppl wake up to what the hell is going on here and they are promptly hosed down with mud and made to be a racist **bleep** or something when it is I and sellers like me who are the actaul victims here !

It might surprise you to know that I, and any other member with a couple of braincells to rub together, don't post with my main selling accounts.

Reason - the opportunity for those who don't agree with what I post to not be able to buy from me for the purpose of trashing my feedback/standing.

You will just have to take my word. You expect me to take yours, so where is the difference? Except that at least 2 other regular members here actually know what my store account is.

Which is, however, irrelevant. You are evaluating the person, rather than the information. Fail.
