Some buyers can be frustrating

i recently had a past buyer asking me for a couple of week to please split up some magazines as he wanted just one. So I eventually did

he messaged me on the 19th, I listed them individually on the 21st, as a past buyer, that was the reason I decided to as he was friendly.

Today I get a mesage saying since I just replied, its too late as he got one - I last messaged him 9 days ago

It is hard selling low priced items on a selling limit when I have thousands of stuff worth more $$$, but I did it solely because as he was a good friendly buyer

I did tell him just now I am not happy and I will never do it again for anyone and kept it at that - but to be honest, my laptop is lucky to be in one piece X-(

You try do something nice and then they try make you feel bad........I'm heading out, perhaps an Iced Coffee is what I need to settle me down and lot let it get to me

Thank god I am closing my store tonight! but QS is completely dead, so I am also frustrated whether to stay on here or take 2 weeks of to consider it, but either way, Iced Coffee is calling me 'Drink me Matty Drink Me'

flashback, don't be too disheartened, it's only one clown. 😉

Some good times to be had here, with a few ups and downs.

It's still a great medium for buying and selling.

I doubt the buyer even thought it as an issue...

I only just found out about the selling limits when I decided to register a new account, I have never had an issue with this account for some reason.

The limit was only increased slightly on the other account and I was told to call them again if I needed it lifted more, they wanted more feedback on the account. With the store fees doubling I decided not to worry about it.

Is there a way to check the limits without contacting ebay? Without listing heaps of stuff...

Mine was increased from 200-260 so you got the same story as me.

That guy was only 1 buyer, so isnt worth worrying about

I was gonna use the 30 free listing but QS is dead - even though the store fee is increasing, I might try one more month to see if I can cover the increase

Climbing trees could be just as dangerous lol

They message me back today saying he wanted a private listing, can sellers do that so only one person can see the listing?

he also threatening to report my last mesage because i twisted his words. I am not gonna bother replying

As far as I know you can't do a private listing. Perhaps it is time to block this buyer and stop communicating.

In my experience, 90% of buyers are just great, even when there is a problem. However that 10% or so, can make life depressing.

Block them and move on. If they are being this difficult now imagine if their item didn't turn up!!!....

You cannot make a Private Listing, but you can create a Buy It Now with a title that says "Listing For Member XYZ only"
