I see they're still bombarding us with daily promotions and emails. Wonder if it's not as successful as they'd hoped?

I haven't been bombarded but occasionally get a message about a special offer if i subscribe to it.
The problem as I see it is that over the last month or so, any item I look up either seems to have 'free postage' or else if there is postage, it doesn't seem to be covered by ebay plus. My understanding is not every seller or product is covered by ebay plus and certainly none of the items I've looked at seem to be.
I can't see it taking off unless buyers can see that on nearly every purchase of run of the mill stuff where postage is charged, that they would make a saving. Not talking 100% coverage of course but at the moment I can't see even 10% of my watched items with it.

I've had the opposite experience whereby most of the items I had on my watchlist were eligible.
eBay plus also offers free returns if needed. I did my first ever return in 18 years on eBay. I bought a pair of converse shoes for my son - bought the same size as stated on the label of the ones he was wearing but the new ones were waaaay to big. I returned them without any difficulty (even though they were 'as described') and bought a smaller pair.
For buyers, I can't really see any downside if you can identify eBay plus items with $29 postage over a year (or whatever the going rate is - I timed it for the $20 eBay voucher).
From my perspective it wouldn't matter if they canned it tomorrow - I have well and truly saved!
And I'm engrossed in season 4 of 'Dexter' thanks to the 3 months free subscription to Stan (which I will cancel before I have to pay anything).

I also got an offer with some sweetener. A free trial with something. Then I got an email offering me 10% of site wide, if I spend more than $250. WOW, I'll be busting my guts to use that offer.................pfffft.

I got it if I spend $120 lol just $20 to go and I'll take it up as this is the only offer that I can actually purchase what I'm after.

The 10% off has conditions applied. Minimum $120 or something ridiculous. I was happy a few nights ago that I found on one my accounts a $10 off if I spend more than $30. I was planning to buy an item that cost $31, so it was a real bonus! I got the email for that this afternoon. Maybe I should try and use it again!
