Still haven't received my funds after selling items a month ago

Sold items at the end of October, they were on hold till the 14-16th November as I'm a new seller, funds got sent and then nothing. Don't know where the money is, but the following message is on my account.

There's a delay in your payout reaching your bank, and we're working hard to resolve it. Occasionally, this takes longer than usual due to compliance checks that help keep eBay a safe place to buy and sell online.

Anyone know how long this takes before it's resolved?

After talking to eBay again, I was told to wait for an email from them and instead I got this, which I assume was meant for a different eBay worker.

"My apologies, these payments were sent through eBay merchant and not Adyen. For these missing payouts you will need to log a MIT."

Isn't Ayden the company that handled payments instead of PayPal now?

Yes, your payment should come via Adyen....reply to that email, and ask them what the hell is going on (nicely of course)

eBay are slack. I am on your side. I’m a seller of over 10 years and waiting for my payout too. It’s frustrating that today is the due date to post items to my buyer but no pay in my account from eBay yet to be able to post out. Their older system was much better, getting funds right away in PayPal was the best - I miss those days. I sell less now as I don’t like the new system. There are better platforms out there that I might try such as Facebook Marketplace where it’s free and no fees!

Dont wait for your money to come in, it will happen.

Post the item,  your money will come,  the buyer has paid, they deserve their items

If they are due to be posted by today, you have to post by today

You don't make the buyer wait, they have paid

As you agreed to when listing

How long you have been a member has zero to do with anything

PayPal has gone and not coming back, the 'new' system is getting close to four years old

If you refuse to post within your handling time, expect defects from eBay and longer hold times to go with them

You only have two recent feedbacks in eBay's eyes that puts you in the new/infrequent seller category

If, as you freely admit you don't sell much because you don't like Managed Payments, then yes, sell elsewhere

Not just defects,  some buyers will leave a lovely well deserved negative feedback for sellers who refuse to send in time

Hate to tell you, the items you sell probably wouldn't be a winner on Marketplace. You can certainly try, but I think you'll be disappointed.

As soon as you sell something and you can see the buyer has paid, you need to post.

There is nothing more worrying to buyers than to see that their items have not been posted in a timely manner.

Please don't wait till your money comes through before you post, that would be disastrous.

It doesn't matter how long you have been selling for, if you have not been a regular seller over the last few months, then your account is treated as 'new to selling'. I could say I have been a seller on and off for 20 years but if I listed on ebay today, I would have a 30 day hold on funds too, same as you.

Market place is okay but the main difference is you are usually only getting a local audience. I did have a look at your sold items. I think brand new makeup might sell (as long as you stipulated it was brand new, recent stock) but I know from experience that a lot of people don't like to put themselves out for very small, low cost items such as eg earrings, they would rather pay and have them delivered.

Some people find pick up confronting.

But for sure, give it a try, you'll never know till you do. Some people have a lot of success on it.
