....Jakarta since 4 Dec.
I've done all that one would usually do - checked My Post account for tracking details - advised the buyer - spoken to my local PO who say get the buyer to make a request/claim on Customs Jakarta - advised the buyer and apologised for the inconvenience.
Am I missing something? Is there anything else I could or should be doing do you think? I feel I've not done enough. It's tracked but not insured.
any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks.

Is the buyer replying to you?
It may need them to take action
Where is the destination?

The buyer is friendly, a good customer - Jakarta.
He knows we are doing all that we can, but it just feels not enough to me. And he's the one, it appears, that needs to do all the work. I feel bad. Aust Post have advised that it's out of their hands once received into customs of the destination country.

ould it be being held by customs for any reason, a product not allowed to import or that needs the buyer to make a payment before they can get it? If it is either of those then ebay and Paypal consider the item as delivered as it is up to buyers to know the import regulations for their destination.

Hi phorum, no, all above board in that respect and indeed our parcels do often get inspected in Jakarta. I think once they see the word pipe it's a definite pre-curser to inspection, but that's okay. We understand that. It's just been soooo long this time.
You feel totally useless in the situation. But, it looks like I've done all I can, so now we 'hurry up and wait.' Someone would have said so by this if there was anything else I should be doing.
Many thanks.
