Suspension on selling account and chance of appeal?

My selling account got suspended for 30 days and I was wondering if there's any chance at all of getting it reinstate sooner than the given time.

Long story short, the past couple of months I have been getting a MC018 listing removals due to the fact that I overlooked to revised some of wordings in the listings. These wordings were allowed to be included in the listing several months ago but the T&S interpretation on the policies has changed and they are now chasing after any listing that included these wordings. In case you are wondering, these wordings are just to show the compatibility of the products I'm selling with the machines that they can be used with.

Anyhow, I relisted a bunch of items the other day and forgot that 6 of those listings description haven't been revised (I have over 700 listings which almost all have been revised). I overlooked these and as a result got another MC018. I have always maintain a good standing account with Ebay and never even got a negative feedback out of 5500+ feedback during the past couple of years of trading on Ebay. Yet Ebay is treating me like I'm some sort of a scammer trying to scam the customers.

What concern me the most is I do not have access to pending orders and I don't want to frustrate the customers. I can pull up paid orders from paypal but I can't pull up any bank deposit orders. With this suspension I no longer have access to all those orders.

Have anyone had any positive experience appealing to Ebay T&S team to have the suspension lift? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Re: Suspension on selling account and chance of appeal?

Great news for you, and at least some sanity has prevailed in your case:-D  However, I would still be very wary of using the words "compatible with" as I had listings removed that contained more than one brand name in either my Title or Description.  I personally would be listing each item individually so as to completely iradicate any chance of another suspension, and then you have to be wary of duplicate listings - jmo:-)

It's a bit late now, 10 months later. Surely your suspension has been lifted. Or you've opened another account.

Either way I don't see the point of you dragging this thread up from it's tomb. I haven't seen a post from austeam for a fair while, so they may no longer visit the boards.
