Thought it would be good just to have a single thread devoted to seller promos and free listings.

Forget the weekend freebies - better to wait two days and use the no-fee freebies.  The next lot start on 4th and run to the 7th.

If you click on it now you'll know whether you're going to get them but nothing will show up in your promo section until they actually start on the 4th, so don't jump the gun and start listing before the 4th.  You can always schedule them to start then if you know it's going to work for you.

So far I've only checked on one account, but the fee free doesn't work on the account. Instead, I have unlimited free listings, but it's only for insertion fees.

This is for stores as well as non-stores - no insertion fees from the 4th to 6th.

Not sure what happened to yours, tippy, but the link you put in is the same as the one I got for no selling fees.  It might pay you to have another look because both promos are showing on my non-store account (5802 and 7119).  You may have seen the top one and not noticed the one beneath it for no fees.

Yes, Thats the same for me. Ive just stumbled upon this forum when I was looking for EBay Promos, and trying to work out why others had access to these Promos and I didnt. I have an Ebay Store, so I was wondering if that was why...

I guess some of these offers aren't for store holders at times... Though I have now checked the 'Receive promo offers' in my preferences, so I am hoping that I will receive some from Ebay from now on..

Stores don't get as many extra promos as non-stores but occasionally we might get one for 30% off final value fees on items listed during a promo, or extra listings with no insertion fees.

I'm not sure what happened there either, because it was showing a different number, which is why I posted it. I think the ghosties are playing around again (not any of DG's relatives).

My other accounts got the completely fee free ones, that one account got the no insertion fee offer. Mr Tippy got both on his account, which is a bit ridiculous given they are over the same period.

Edit: The link should have been the 7119 promo, so not sure how it changed to the other one! Just checked one of my other accounts and both are now showing on it.

I had an interesting conversation with a Supervisor on Ebay this morning in regards to who gets special deals and Promotions.

The Supervisor said that it is to help those who are not 'Top Rated Sellers' to up their Status on Ebay, as they apparently cant compete with those who are Top Rated Sellers - like myself. Apparently Top Rated Sellers have more 'visability' on Ebay than other sellers.  That's what I was told from this Supervisor... He also said that it had to do with how long the account has been active, what they sell, their performance metrics as to WHO would receive the special deals / promotions or not.

I had spoken about wanting to cancel my store, as I didnt feel like I was getting very much for what I had been paying for... The supervisor rattled off the supposed 'benefits' and said that with the Upcoming Christmas Period that there would be MORE promos given to sellers...

So lets just see if we end up with anything good soon or not...
