Yes, hard to believe that I could make a mistake, but no one is purrfect ๐Ÿ˜‰


 


Sent one of my most popular items to a buyer on Friday - as soon as paid as is my habit.


 


Safely packaged in a 3kg eBay satchel, popped into box on the way home Friday.


 


Just popped into my head this morning, I used the wrong code for click and send didn't I ?? I used the code for a 500g satchel.

Better than the other way around. Paying for a 3kg satchel and posting in a 500g satchel would hurt!

Don't worry Greencat. The parcel will still arrive its destination. That happened to me before and they sent me an invoice to pay the difference and a bit extra ($1-2 can't remember) as an admin fee. 


It was Friday afternoon for me too ๐Ÿ™‚ Can't blame you.+

Not too long ago I paid for and printed a 500g and a 3 kg label.....


 


And then proceeded to put them into the wrong satchels..


 


So my 500g satchel had postage for the 3 kg satchel and the 3kg satchel had the postage for the 500g.... Not even the PO picked that up when I lodged it over the counter...


 


AP never picked it up either, however my customers were a bit surprised when they received the wrong items!


 


So whilst I never got into trouble with AP - it cost me a fortune in Express Satchels to fix up my error!


Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

Call C&S as soon as possible - I imagine the help number will not work over the weekend, but you can always try.  It would be easy for them to cancel the payment and get you to pay the right sum.  Of-course, it is possible that there is no way that the parcel will be checked when scanned somewhere.  The parcel does not show how much you paid for it, it is 3kg satchel  so there is no way a person will pick it up; hard to say if the system would register that the parcel weighs more than 500g but the amount paid was for the small satchel .

Could you send a message to the buyer and tell em what happened and to let you know if there is a problem. I have to say I have been harsh lately with sellers but the ones that let me know whats going on I am always more understanding. I had one guy message to say  so sorry I overlooked the dress you ordered this was 2 weeks after having paid but he told me the truth let me know and I judged him based no mistakes because of his communication.

Think I will contact buyer and advise, and also ring C&S - thanks guys - have been burying my head in the sand in shame :^O
