Ticket scalping

How do sellers get away with it ? . all you have to do is search liverpool fc v melbourne victory to find tickets at well over ticketek asking price . one of the worse cases being a seller asking $500 for a pair of tickets when ticketek where asking $25 each is this legal ?

In most cases, yes, it is legal. The best (only) way to stop it is for people not to buy them.

Generally event tickets are not allowed to be sold above face value or are not transferable.

These conditions are specified by most ticket issuers/agents and it is up to the issuers to instruct ebay to remove listings for violating conditions.

I find there is a lot less scalping than before which is good. 🙂
