I scanned the wrong number for tracking. What do I do as I can't edit it? And payments on hold because obviously tracking details aren't updating.

Payments would be on hold regardless since you have only sold one thing recently, so you are seen as a 'new' seller by eBay
Assuming you fully completed sign up to Managed Payments, and were verified to sell, your funds will be on hold for 30 days, as you agreed to when you listed
And hopefully, given the number of scammer buyers who target inexperienced sellers selling high priced item (and especially the kind of item you sold, which is a magnet to them) yours is an honest buyer
I'm sure other members can advise re the tracking
But please don't think that is the reason for the hold, you'd have the hold anyway

โHi there, Go to ORDERS and select the relevant item.
Next to the tracking number you have entered is an edit tab, use that and from there you should be able to add the second (correct) tracking. From memory you won't be able to remove the original tracking that was added, unless ebay have changed it.โ

โThere are 3 options - depending on how you are accessing the eBay site.
1. Mark as unsent, then add tracking using the correct number

2. Add another tracking number, then delete the incorrect number

3. Edit the tracking numberโ
