Treated terrible by customer service

my payments were on hold and customer service was not able to help at all!!

i spend 1 hr speaking to a man that stated it was customer service to talk over me repeatedly.

they held $270 from me.

when I stated this issues he kept repeating the steps then he asked for me to photograph screenshot my bank account page & send to eBay.

i asked send where & he said Ebay.
no way is that acceptable also he stated they held my funds due to sending me a Penny?! & a penny was not returned. We have cents here?! I’ve never ever heard anyone from eBay speak that way & not help.

he then sat repeating that and that actually was not what had happened at all.

ebay please shape up your customer service as I’ve been a seller & buyer for 14 years now.

this is a nightmare.

i sorted it myself it was an email I needed to verify and I had not received any notification or email or message about the Penny it was my email needing to be verified after how many years?!

ok thank you so much for putting my money on hold I have an MRI scan today ahead on a lump in my body & they caused serious stress on me and did not try help & at 1AM.

I called back after he started yelling at me to speak to someone else after verifying my email & getting it all to turn green for my payments.

it now suggests I get paid today?

i have not been paid & it also will not even allow an instant payout.

i potentially have cancer I’ve lost weight I’ve battled extremely hard to get my orders out during this an ex partner hurting me & they made me feel so sick to my stomach from stress.

i called back & the next one was nearly as bad & hung up on me mid sentence.

i did not swear once & I did not say anything but how I had been lied to & made upset, he apologised but then went on to be really as rude.

i request eBay be looking into this seriously as I have been selling since 2012 & my orders now will use the last of my current money for myself that I have (I do not used eBay postage, Australia post has business accounts, you move up the bands & postage is cheaper on first band also)

i will be seeking compensation from this as I am awake vomiting sick to my stomach that they allow this for anyone to experience.

ebay let me down when I am doing beyond my best.

this needs to be raised to the highest level!!!!

I never had such bad customer service in my whole eBay life selling off my own personal items so I can eat & I know it will take my food away as I sit waiting for money they never alerted me to the verification & now any scammers that do work there know that they can’t take anything from me as I have locked my passwords with 2 step verification & my face!!

you can’t get me more unwell today then they did doing what they did.

i expect an apology & compensation asap!!

 

I cared about my customers before myself as I am barely able to eat now to avoid negative feedback & cruel messages I get everyday after waiting patiently & spending my own money seperately.

I will be seeking legal action.

Make sure you screenshot any evidence of what you were speaking to them about & record on your own side as they do however I bet he whoever Mr Penny was is stealing information as he had zero information & started being being aggressive.

this hurts me beyond the pain I already am experiencing.

fire those 2 men that spoke to a lady seeking her payout of her own money.

i could help anyone else wayyyyy better then they ever did.

they had no empathy & no care, it was not customer service & it really felt like eBay changed its way it employs others.

No care to employ Australians ever as I’ve never ever spoken to one at all. That is racist against Australians or not even reasonable to never of heard an Australian or English accent not once the whole time!!!

employ me so I can be paid for the conversations eBay needs to credit the sellers that get treated like that and did the work to solve it after days without my own sales money and no help from them at all to sort it out.

 

ridiculous behaviour from them to call those workers customer service

I am sorry you are going through all this.

When you are sick and have other stresses, having problems like this on ebay can probably feel like just too much, too overwhelming.

I think what you need to do is firstly look after your own health.

 

If you need to call ebay though, do not bring in any side issues such as health. Just stick with the main issue which is that you want to work out how to get your money and for specific reasons why it has not been paid out.

Just try to get clear answers to that, so you can move on to complete the process & get your money.

 

So, just as short and clear as you can make it, as the ebay reps aren't always great with anything too complicated. Good luck.
