I have created a new children's product that I am trying to get off the ground and have listed it on ebay a couple of times. The problem is that I have had very few people if any view the product. Can anyone suggest how I can bring more attention to the product and potentially get a sale! - Many thanks

Sorry, but I would not be interested to pay $5 for 8 stickers! Or is it for more than one card of 8; you really need to make it clear what exactly are people getting. I have draw full of all sorts of coloured stickers, albeit just dots, but i am sure I only paid $1 or so for 100 (or was it 200?), and while not as pretty as stars and hearts, they would do as well for this purpose.

Sorry if it looks confusing.
The buyer would be buying one sheet of 8 stickers at that price. They would just need to let me know which one they would like to purchase.
The first photo is really to show all 8 designs available. The other photos are individual shots of some of the designs up close. May need to add individual shots of all 8 sheets so the designs are clearer.
Thanks for your feedback!

so you give the stickers to people so they can stick them on a birthday card to give to your child
its just not going to fly 🙂

The idea is to link the card to the present should they not be together.
The idea came about when my son actually opened all his presents at his party when he shouldn't have when I wasn't around. In the rush of the party finishing and guests leaving, all the presents and cards were bundled together and placed in the car. When we got home I had no idea who had given him what present as they were all mixed in together.
It was difficult thanking people for the present when I saw them because I had no idea what they gave them. This little idea was to try and eliminate situations like that.

I just write the present given Bon the back of the card. I see no need for a sticker, or am I missing something?

As it appears that the listing is only for one sheet I doubt anybody would pay that price for one sheet. Did you buy them from a wholesaler - I have been in the retail craft business since 1972 and I certainly would not have ever bought from a wholesaler something like that if I had to sell it for what you have it listed for.
Also you have it listed under scrapbooking and that is definitely the wrong section for it to be listed under.
I hope you havent bought too many of the sheets as I fell you should just cut your losses and not waste any more money listing them.
I dont have young children now only grandchildren but when I did I always wrote on the bottom of the card what the gift was and my children always opened their parcels when their parents were present

Just to put in my two cents worth, as someone who has been selling various different things on ebay for over 12 years now.................I don't really think Ebay is the place to launch a new product. As others have said, if no-one knows it exists, then how can they search for it?

Firstly, I think it's a good idea - and I think this from witnessing a similar child's-frenzied-unwrapping situation with resulting gift giver confusion . . .
However, I also agree these stickers are overpriced, if I was put in need of such a thing I would tend to either make my own stickers or write it on the card (probably more like "I really hope you enjoy your ___________ (whatever gift is) just to be a little more subtle. But that's just me!
I do however think there would be a market out there for this, small though it may be.
Given eBay is a difficult place to launch a new product I would suggest you aim at getting your products advertised on 'Mum" websites, blogs and even adverts in the local 'child' magazines you get at maternal health centres, because the age group this would be best for would be for toddlers to early primary school. Kids' birthday party sites which would be a great vehicle for this too.
You may also like to try the handmade.com.au and madeit.com.au sites which are Aussie and specifically for creative hand made products - unfortunately there's not as much of an appreciation for hand made stuff on ebay due to the sheer volume of mass produced stuff including cheaper imports.
Good luck! Creativity and thinking outside the box is what makes the world a great place!

JMO-post it notes (available in a range of colours) cost a few dollars for a pad of around 100 or more so,if someone was that pedantic about pointing out what present they'd bought, they could just stick one of those to the overly priced birthday cards sold these days.
