Trying to send an invoice to a buyer from an active item.

I can see this guide

http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/questions/buyer-invoice.html

But it says to select the item from the sold tab(and select the item), how can I select and active item - adjust the cost and then ivoice them?

They have not bought it yet, but I want to sell from an active listing and use the details and pic, just change the price.

I do not want to change the original listing, just use that template - copy it.

I just relisted it, and told them the item number.

Thanks

But but but................................

What does happen if the buyer pays then leaves feedback, and then a mutual cancellation is actioned, would the listing still show as "sold" in completed listings ???????  'Cos I'm pretty sure the feedback would remain.................

I'll leave you to bounce around in your room Stalks whilst I do likewise over here...................smirk.

Interesting that after starting so many threads the OP is MIA.

I think he probably realised he'd been caught out and that the members here weren't the idiots he thought they were. I think I possibly put the wind up him when I mentioned that he was violating policy with the feedback manipulation and that there were plenty of people here who would gladly report him for such actions. I'd say he's gone running scared with his tail between his legs. Maybe he thinks that if he disappears from here, it will all go away and he can keep trying to rort the system.

So many people come in here spilling their guts, not being careful, etc, not realising the ramifications. It amazes me just how many people out themselves, whether it be willing or not. If only he'd stayed logged in with the "uncles" account, he would have been fine and we would have been none the wiser.

I love how these people come here looking for advise and get much more than they bargain for.

How many times have we seen this happen.

I'm joining the others and giving up trying to help you. Given you've sold a number of things on your other account, you know how things work. You don't happen to sell paint by any chance?

There are many sellers of paint on eBay . . . . . . . one of these many sellers of paint has contacted me off the boards asking for me to post that he is not the Opening Poster of this thread and that he has not and never will violate eBay policy by manipulating/inflating his feedback by breaking eBay rules.  I hope everyone here knows which one of the many sellers of paint I am referring to and that this post puts his mind at ease.

The OP of this thread is in Queensland and everyone knows where this other member lives, and it is not Queensland.

note to moderators:  I have not mentioned the ID of the member I have posted this for, just provided a clarification on behalf of one of the very many paint sellers on eBay.  I take/accept full responsibility for the content of my posts, including this one.
