How do you speak to a person from eBay 

it says to contact us but you can’t contact anyone

You're better off asking here, but if not inclined....go to HELP (top of page) & conduct a 'live chat'.....type (not talk) to someone in Asia that is reading from a script (generally).....but you will get a transcript sent to you (that is the only benefit)

go to the chat box select a few generic answers then a choice contact agent comes up. select them to call u

. they call straight away. They show u your phone number they will call just check last digits are complete as the international 61 drops the last number if u don't take out the first number)

I did find it a bit of a maze to get to at one point.  It seems to be easier now, though.

The other thing I did was the ask ebay thing on Twitter.  I found them to be quite helpful too.  The chat depends on who you get, though.  There are the ones who can't deviate from their pre-prepared sentences and others who can be a bit more communicative.

Like the other person said that if you use the chat function you do get a record of the chat sent to your email.
