Was trying to relist 24 unsold items in Turbo Lister, but it won't let me. I get the message;
Error:- This item cannot be accessed because the listing has been deleted, or you are not the seller
I tried going to the items to see if I could create a template from them, but no luck
When I tried to modify one it said the category number had changed, but wouldn't allow me to reset category because the data was ghosted
I was doing this from the upload page, I will try creating templates from the unsold page but any ideas would be most helpful
I don't know if this is because Turbo Lister has updated in the last three months, but I did synchronise before attempting this
Thanks in advance

I just tried it from my Ended Listings page, and the same thing. If you try to re-save it says things like 'add a handling time', but then won't let you do anything, the field is ghosted

are you in the same country TL as the listing?
i mean if you listed on ebay U.S.A. originally, you can only ''relist'' on ebay U.S.A.
make sure you aren't logged into the incorrect country

No, I've just being doing it in Oz...I've had a similar problem before, but only with a few listings, which I redid. It's gonna really annoy me if I have to redo 24 listings
Cheers

I havent used turbo lister for so long so cant even remember what the problem might be.
Have you moved it from the main page where you hold them to the uploaded page waiting to be listed?
I forget what they are called now, but you have two sections where you put listings.
I think if you move them to the bit where you then upload them to list on ebay from you might then be able to do it.
The handling time rules have changed and yes you do now need to specify a handling time before you can relist.
I always found when i did a sync i ended up with duplicate listings, for example....
Blue widget one size
Blue widget one size
Blue widget one size.
So one is the original listing, the first one, with one date next to it, then when i did a sync i would get the second one appear with the date i did the sync on, then if i did another sync i would get the third one show up with a new date.
I found if i tried to relist from the very first listing with the oldest date it didnt let me, i would have to relist from the last listing with the most recent sync and it would then let me relist.
I would then have to go through and constantly delete listings making sure i only ever had the most recent of each listing.
It was a total pain the bottom, and im glad i dont have to deal with turbo any more, with the duplicats then the freezing mid list, then the total shudding down when i was in the middle of doing a listing and having to start again, i just got jack of it and got rid of it.
Now i have no probs i just list.

Oh and from memory you can change sites when relisting, but you have to have any other sites added onto turbo, you can upload USA and UK ebay sites so you have the 3 with AU, you then just click the drop down, select USA and then you list on that site, but if you have only AU selected as a selling site within turbo then you can only list on AU untill you download the other countries.

Thanks sexy harley chick, that gives me some ideas...
The other problem was my old computer blew up, so I had to download whatever completed listings I could from eBay.
I did save the TL files onto a stick, but couldn't work out how to get them into a fresh TL...bit of a hassle. I went through the supposed process, but it wouldn't recognise the files
Now, if I have to redo all these listings, I also have to take new pics 'cos they're on my old drive which won't slot into this new computer (without voiding the warranty)
It's all a bit too much of a hassle, especially like last time this happened, it jammed me up for a week
It would be handy if they had a Q7A for restoring TL files, but I could only find skimpy info
Cheers, and thanks again

I back my TL files up every time I need to download an update.
Never had a problem restoring them, the twice I have had to do it.
As far as listings go. my descriptions are in Notepad, ready to C&P, my pics are on my computer, and both are on a USB stick.
Hardly eBay's fault, imo, if you don't back up your data.
But, you should be able to synchronize with eBay and get your listings back, sans pics.

But like I said, I did back up all the files from Turbo Lister onto a stick, but it won't reload the back in...I forget the name of the file format, but there were two types of files.
I don't mind if I have to reset categories etc. in my Unsold list, but it won't even let me do that. The fields are ghosted
And yes, I do backup every time I shut down TL. But I haven't relisted these older ones since I put a fresh Turbo Lister on my new computer.
I downloaded some old listings from eBay, but others must've been too old. They're all on the stick, but the new TL won't recognise them
My only option is to put a new power supply in my old computer and use my old Turbo Lister....but that may not work either if I've synchronised to the new one.

If they're backedup TL files then they should be available.
Maybe try loading them off the stick into the TL backup directory? That's all I can suggest.
