So, America now has an additional Tariff on - just about - all imports from what I am reading.
This WILL apply to items sold/bought on ebay and I assume ebay will be collecting that from USA buyers as of now on checkout as they do now with any applicable Sales Tax.
And of course, ebay will add that 10% tariff to the total Invoice value to calculate their final valuation fees!
Once again ebay will profit at the expense of their customers - both buyers and sellers!
Enough of my rant, has anyone seen any news from ebay regarding these USA tariffs?
I sell mostly secondhand car parts so are my USA buyers - USA would be 20% of my export sales - going to be hit with the 25% tariff on cars and car parts?
Thanks
Simon
PS - that 25% tariff on cars & parts is, in my - experienced - opinion, going to have a HUGE negative impact on the USA auto industry, as the Button tariff plan did to the Australian car industry in the 1990's!

I no longer sell.
However if I did I would not make any assumptions until I see some eBay Announcements.
