Well things are going from bad to worse.
After many messages to and from a prospective customer - I have sold 5 Stamp Albums on CD. We negotiated a discounted price ($60 down to $45) and as they are under 250gm would fit into a large letter giving a further savings to my customer.
Naively, I suggested he adds all 5 BIN's to the Shopping Cart, then proceed with Checkout but stop short of paying. This would show the items in my SOLD section and I could click on one item, make sure all items are involved and re-invoice at our negotiated price.
BUT! After 3 hours they are not in my SOLD section! It seems that he has to proceed with payment, pay the full price (Ebay and Paypal get fees on full price) and then I have to give a refund of the overcharge on items and postage. As this refund will far exceed the postage costs I will probably get a defect.
My solution
I have asked my customer to cancel what he has done. As he hasn't paid it should be possible. I have made a special listing for him showing the discounted price and the revised postage. He can BIN and Pay the correct negotiated rate.
