I have noticed that Ebay gave 20% discount on an item I am selling, to a buyer and I gave no authority for the discount to be applied. There is no way I can find on Ebay for me to address this issue. It seems they can do whatever they like and we the sellers have no recourse open to us.
Has anyone struck this issue before, and what is the suggestion...?

if it was the ''Police Protective Security Sth Aust Challenge Coin Collectable"that you sold on the 28th, you have discounts for multiple sales turned on. this is a setting you turn on.

Was the discount funded by you?
ie Did the buyer use an eBay voucher, whereby eBay funded the discount?
Have you checked your Payments for the item to determine what nett amount you have been/will be paid?
Do you have any sort of promotions running?

No promotions running.
The payment was 20% less than the sale.

Nett?
Have you checked Payments?
In 16 years and 5k+ sales I have never had eBay charge me more than I agreed to at time of listing.

Have you taken into account eBay selling fees. eBay is not a charity and charges at POS.

Further -
eBay fees are roughly 13.4% of the TOTAL sale price, including postage.
How did you post?
Are you factoring fees on the total sale, rather than the item price?
I suspect that is where your misunderstanding resides.

Thanks for that, I never even saw it. This is the only item with that turned on, Now fixed.
