Hi just wondering if we are able to get unfair negative feedback removed?
I sold an item three times the buyer made arrangement to pick up and ach time by mid morning she cancelled ,forth time she just never showed up any all ,no communication which was very annoying as that was on a weekend So I turned to cancel transaction and she denied the request I contacted her yet again and she said she still wanted item but none of my time slots suited her,buy this stage we were up to 10 days post auction ending. She then suggested I leave item out for her to collect and she will leave money in letter box. I said I was not comfortable with that and said tome needed to be collected by that evening. She never showed. I have resold and I was honest in my feed back So she has neg me can it be removed?

Re: Unfair negative feedback

Ring Ebay and speak with them. Tell them EXACTLY what happened. Were all messages sent via Ebay, as this would greatly help you. Ebay can read them. Also, did she tell you she was ill, like in the Neg feedback?  I would not have left the item out for collection either.

Disaster waiting to happen.

Re: Unfair negative feedback

Yes all messages were from eBay First contact with here was three days after auction ending ,which time organised and then cancelled this happens two times those time she said she was ill, fair enough ,third date just cancelled and I gave her last chance for Saturday afternoon coll which just never happened. I though I had been more then understanding with waiting for her to recover I've looked for a eBay member and can't find one.

Re: Unfair negative feedback

sounds like you should have  moved faster. 😞  Unpaid item, wait the time, take action. Then she couldn't have left a neg for you.

Re: Unfair negative feedback

As she left you feedback at 1726 on the 5th, after you'd closed the UPI at 1330 then she should not have been able to leave any feedback at all and ebay should remove it on request. However, you did err in one respect. Instead of leaving your buyer positive feedback with a negative comment, which is a breach of ebay policy and could get you into trouble, you should have replied to her negative with a well-considered explanatory comment which would have made her look bad instead.

Re: Unfair negative feedback

The buyer breached ebay policy by not paying but how can you expect ebay to be sympathetic when you also think it is OK to breach policy too?

If I were you OI would not be contacting ebay as it may result in you getting a poloicy violation recorded against your account.

Re: Unfair negative feedback

I thought I could be factual in the feedback seeing as as sellers we can no longer leave a neg. I would have accepted a neutral ,I suppose I am more peeved at her comment as to me that's a personal put down and sob story Ive emailed eBay and if no help I will respond to feedback wording it to show I waited ten days, and how she was a no show on numerous occasions. Thank you for the help.
