'Unpaid item' procedure does not make sense

Once again - 2nd time within 3 sales - I have a non payer. I have waited 4 days - communicated with buyer - won't pay.

So on day 5, I went to lodge a non payment claim. First sentence states - 

"If you haven't received payment for an item that ended at least 4 days ago, eBay can open an unpaid item case for you"

So I am at day 5 - and it will not let me lodge a claim, saying I have to wait 4 days? Will not let me procede. I do not have 'auto non payment' set up.

Anyone able to throw some light on this?

i have set the auto non payment thing so i dont have to do anything, they dont pay, it automatically starts the process.

havent had a non payer in a long time tho.
