Use of google analytics in ebay listing

Can anyone tell me if eBay forbids the use of GA in listings? I saw their policy about HTML and JavaScript, but there was nothing about it.

there used to be some analytics in sales reports plus on hits by listings not sure if they still exist as my store has dropped so much I dont really bother viewing them anymore but worth a look depending on what you are trying to achieve.

Google analytics uses Javascript, from what I can gather, so I'm guessing it (generally) can't be used on eBay.

I'm basing that on a quick google search, with results including info from third parties (paid subscription services, by the look of it) that provide apps / tools to use Javascript-free analytics

I have seen many listings, which are including external javascript libraries, functions, etc and they are not forbidden.
Has anyone tried to use it though ?

I honestly don't think anyone here can provide the kind of assistance you need - I would personally try asking some of the sellers who you've seen using it, or post on the Google Analytics forums.

No, I didn't see anyone using GA in their code, as a matter of fact, I didn't search of it. Thats why I posted a question here.
What I saw in such listings was external javascript libraries, which are not GA. Otherwise I wouldn't even post a question 🙂
