I have recently sold 14 vinyl LPS to a buyer from two separate eBay accounts. He asked me to ship them in the one parcel to reduce shipping costs. I dutifully packed them together and bought a postage label from Australia Post. I was able to enter the tracking number for a number of the records on one account, but when I tried to enter them for the records sold from the other account I was told that the number had been used by another seller (me). As I understand it, eBay won't give me my money until the number is scanned. What, if anything, can I do?

go to HELP at top of page, conduct a "live chat"....at least then it should be on file that they do not penalize you for lack of tracking on the second order....and keep the transcript for future

I always get suspicious when a buyer does this.
Buyers who are up to no good will know that you can only enter tracking for one of the purchases because they've used two accounts. Of course it would be no issue if they bought twice under the same account.
I don't think there is a way around it.
I would not have accepted combining the orders as I know this is a way a bad buyer will game the system. I would have cancelled one of the orders and got them to repurchase under the same ID, or I would tell them that I would have to send two parcels due to different purchase accounts. Unless the buyer is super honest, they can easily raise a case for Not Received.
Ebay will still give you your money after a certain period. If you have a look in your seller hub, it will tell you the payout date. I've sent lots of items untracked in my second account which I only recently reopened. I just have to wait a little longer.

Sad, but true....this has happened to me numerous times....eBay needs to get their algorithms sorted....

If he used two accounts to purchase, then you must post as two parcels with two tracking numbers.
โฆ..otherwise you might find yourself with an Item Not Received Case opened for the โsupposedly untrackedโ items (even though YOU know theyโve been sent in the one parcel, try and prove it!)
