I have previously purchased on ebay via pay pal several times . I have just completed my first (non COD local pickup) sale and have contacted buyer , sending invoice & confirming postal address .Am I supposed to give them my paypal details (paypal was listed form of payment) or does that happen automatically via ebay ? Daft question , I'm sure but there is nothing in my messages that I can use as a precedent and I haven't previously bought from a private (pre loved item ) buyer so am unaware of what info I should supply ? Thanks .

Since you had Pay in your listing, the buyer will be able to see it, but they should pay cash on pick up so they can inspect the item and when happy, pay in cash and take it away.

As long as you have your Paypal attached to the payment details and upgraded to a premier account, important to accept payments for items sold. the buyer only needs to go through checkout to pay, no need for you to send additional information, the system will send them in the right direction.
Just mentioning, don`t put COD in your pick up items, request Cash on Pick up, COD is a costly Auspost service and does not mean Cash on pick up.

The buyer will go through checkout if they are paying with Paypal, when they do they will confirm the address you need to send to. always check that the address is the same as on the Paypal transaction page as that may be different fronm the email you received fron ebay when the item sold.
If it is for the trainers and they went for fifty bucks or close then you should send by registered post or click & send, ordinary red or express satchels do not have tracking that qualifies for Paypal seller protection.
