WHAT WOULD YOU DO

this happened to my daughter, what would you do

she purchased 3 separate small items  that was $4.00 each with free postage that went into a large letter $1.40  very light weight .

now what would you do as a seller they can all fit and weigh in a large letter under the 125g weight  would you send it in 1 large letter or separately  or send it in 1 large letter and give a refund for postage  or no refund

a b or c or d   thanks  no comunication from buyer to seller . as a seller what would you do.

a= send 3 separate parcels

b= send them all in 1 parcel

c= send them all in 1 parcel and offer a refund on postage costs.

d= send them all in 1 parcel and not offer a refund on postage costs.

How can you get a post refund on something that was advertised as FREE

Also

a..Were the items paid for in one payment or as 3 seperate payments?

b.. Was the seller asked if 3 items were purchased would there be a discount?

c.. The answers to the above would have a bearing on the answers you are asking for.

Im not going to comment further on this thread Joe, the "answers" you are trying to force by sayin a,b,c,d is silly, have a bit of a think about what you wrote, im not going to bother pointing out the errors in that, and if you cant see them, please continue making an utter fool out of your self.

I have a seller that I use frequently, some of his auctions are free post some have postage, but to be honest I really don't care if he sends in one parcel or not for multiple items and I most certainly would not expect a discount on the postage for the one(s) with postage, or expect some sort of "refund" on multiple "free postage" items.

He does however give a discount for multiple items with postage without me asking for it.

Perhaps your siblings should avoid "free postage" and then they can ask for a genuine postage discount for multiple items - before bidding or buying of course..............

I know you hate buyers like myself coming onto the selling boards, but joe that's your problem - along with "hidden" ID's.

---------------------------------I personally would probably send it in 3 separate envelopes but that would be because there does not appear to be any tracking. I figure that a buyer might claim one as not received but it would be dodgy if they then tried putting in 3 separate not received claims.

As a buyer though, my only expectation is that my items arrive safe and sound and in a reasonable time frame, so if a seller sent all 3 of my purchases together I might think-hmm, they made a bit of a saving on postage, but if their postage was listed as 'free' I wuldn't feel i could complain or receive a refund.

Basically, I am just happy to get my items.

My bad, I missed the no comminication.

If the items were higher priced as in your "sons", I would send them in one envelope and pay for registered post for peace of mind.

If they were your daughters lower priced ones, I would ask if she would like them sent altogether or seperate, to make her aware of how they were being sent. As they were paid for separately and I am assuming by paypal there would be no "discount" on the FREE postage.
