Yes, it really DOES say that. Ebay is forcing us to remove the postal option:

'Australia Post Regular Parcel + Tracking'

and replace it with:

'Australia Post Parcel Post Parcel'

I use TL and I still have the option of Parcel + tracking.

The official name of AP's parcel post is now "Parcel Post Plus" so in that term eBay have stuffed up.

It should be "Australia Post Parcel Post Plus Parcel". First World problem?

On a receipt from late April, sending a standard AP parcel under 500g, it states that the name is Parcel Post. On the AP website, it also states this. http://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/domestic-parcels.html

I don't see why you're grumbling. AP changed two of its services from 8th April, so it just makes sense to use the new ones instead of the old ones.

I've only sent a couple of parcels but one thing I've noticed is that eBay isn't linking up the tracking number like it used to. Before, you could type the tracking number, select Australia Post and it would be clickable in the Sold window, linking to the AP website for tracking info. When I type "Australia Post" it automatically changes the name to "AustraliaPost" (e.g. no space) and the number isn't linked up. Maybe they've fixed it since then.

Well basically I'm grumbling because hundreds of my listed items have the option AUSTRALIA POST REGULAR PARCEL + TRACKING  and I read here on the boards - not from ebay -  that

(a)  the option has to be removed

(b)  there is no way to do it in bulk

And I am also grumbling that I did not see or receive an ebay announcement about changing it being compulsory

AND if they don't want us to use the option, why is it still there?

If you can't do it in bulk, I would still advise doing it a few a day or 10 a day and it'll be done in a month or so. In the message from eBay, I seem to recall (whether rightly or wrongly) that listings using either of those two post options may be removed after a while. Not sure on their exact wording about it.

One should realize by now ,that you need a masters degree without actualy have run any business or have done any work in the real world  to get these jobs .Than you can understand how thes e people justify their positions

I have 920 listing I tried to bulk edit items to change post options to suit what ebay requested

but was unable I rang them and they stated you will have to do them one at a time

allowing a good five minutes each item that's  12 per hour that's over 70 hrs work just to keep what ever I have running, if there not done in the time they state they will be taken down anyway

does anyone has a suggestion to solve this

I just checked out bulk edit and you CAN bulk change the postage parcel type and also price.

You can still even choose parcel post + tracking too lol.
