Wanting to start on selling on different account? Allowed?

Hi

I want to start selling products on another account that is different stuff to the one on my current store. Only reason being is that the name of my store reflects on what it sells and I don't want to mix it out with other totally unrelated stuff to the name.

Now I am wondering if I do start a new account store etc.. and lets say for example I get suspended for getting bad feedback on one account, will the other account be punished as well?

Will the same be applied if i get vero'ed as well?

All of your IDs need to be "in good standing" with eBay to be able to sell on any of them.

so the answer is yes, in a way...if there are issues with one, it affects all

with the vero program, you have listings individually pulled if they are seen as infringements.

you can still sell, but with eBay, there are a limit to how many policy violations you can have before limits or a suspension...

but

you cannot use a different account to circumvent any limits or suspensions 🙂

If you get banned on one account, ebay policy states it applies to all accounts in your name. Ebay also reserve the right to ban all accounts in other members names of a house or ip address if they choose to do so. In other words if the other account is in a different family members name, ebay may choose to allow that account to continue at their discretion. I have had one account suspended for seven days for what ebay saw as a minor breach ( listing an item in wrong catagory according to Ebay ). All of my other accounts where un-affected. I understand they take VERO a bit more seriously so you may not be so lucky. There is discussion in parliment at the moment about introducing new laws and extremly large fines ( including for the service provider ) for VERO breaches. If they eventuate you would expect ebay to become much more aggresive in following up breaches, so selling counterfiet items may not be a good long term business plan.
