Hi guys,
I just sold an item and as i understand it, as a casual seller (which I qualify, I sell less than 30 items a month), the fees I incur are 7.9% capped at $100. I just sold an item for $169, shouldn't my fee for this item be $7.90? I was charged 7.9% on the full amount - $13.35

Just to add, it was not an excluded item

Your final value fee charged is correct, 7.9% of the selling price.
If for example your item sold for $1690.00, the final value fee would be capped at $100.00.

It is the fee that is capped at $100, not the item price the fee is charged on.

Ah, I see. The cap isn't on the final sell price per item

NO, it is the actual fee on each item that is capped. That means you never pay more than $100 final value fee for one item. But if you sell a lot of items your total of FVFs might be lot more, and you may also pay some listing fees.

The total you pay in fees is not capped at $100 but the FVF on each item is capped and would not go over $100.00
