Hello Members....;)
Just as the title suggests, I would love to hear from other members in relation to their own personal goals or benchmarks that they may have in place right here on Ebay. Personal sellers, or Store holders do you set your self targets Monthly, maybe you have goals to establish a great service quality.
Personally, Our store started last Jan and from Jan 1st through to Dec 31st we just missed $50,000 in sales by a tiny $17.00. it was our first 12 month cycle and we were fairly happy with the results especially since we were still learning.
This Next 12 month cycle we hope to break $75,000 in sales for the same time period.
We also have wishes to keep our track record in feedback at a very high standard, not for the numbers game but so it can be a reflection to our customer service overall.
Look forward to hearing from some of our members.

I didn't set goals, I just let the sales happen.
First year = 42k
Second year = 56k
This(3rd) year will be lucky to get past 30k
I think that says it all!

collecting and selling stuff online will always be just a hobby for me, although i do take pride in my service and positive feedback (spend far too much time online as is :8}

I have been with ebay for a while now but it is only the last few month that I have really gotten serious about selling and doing quite well although would like to do better. If I could earn an extra couple of thousand a month to pump up my income would be great. Also I meet alot of nice people and have fun selling my used stuff.

So your short term goal is to post on-topic.
And your long term goal is to stop shouting.
Presumably.

My goal is to keep selling for the next 7 years, ive just had to take out a personal loan to pay off credit card debt, so need to keep doing this.
But im happy about it, i love ebay, been here since 2001, i dont spend a great deal of time on ebay actually, im out enjoying life more than im involved in my ebay.
I guess you can make it as time consuming as you wish, i only do what i need to do and thats it.
I just want to continue being a great seller, being there for my buyers, doing the right thing, and i think like kaz said? not to get any more policy violations LOL

My current goal is to make enough money to purchase a VE commodore for my misses, I reckon 10K will do it which means I am about 9990 away from it.
OH, got my red star

Hello
My goal is to keep doubling the range of items I sell at set intervals. First time it took a year, second about 6 months, third about 3 months - each time, sales double and I have a set income I wish to make as my final goal for a one-person operation. Then, I start involving others in working on this store.
I also aim to relationships with regular buyers who give me ideas on which new products to add.
The dream is to get off eBay and spend all of my time on my standalone store - because running 3 stores as I am right now - eBay, Etsy and standalone, inventory control gets very tricky - too much manual adjustment needed to keep up with daily changes). With a standalone store, it would be so easy to integrate my accounting software with the website backend. Bookkeeping nirvana.
BUT, eBay has made life so easy starting out - it's like being on a city street - so many passing customers. So I continue to review my thoughts on leaving - maybe I will, maybe I won't ... downloaded File Exchange tonight - that may be the answer to my nightmare.
Cheers
