Hello Members....;)
Just as the title suggests, I would love to hear from other members in relation to their own personal goals or benchmarks that they may have in place right here on Ebay. Personal sellers, or Store holders do you set your self targets Monthly, maybe you have goals to establish a great service quality.
Personally, Our store started last Jan and from Jan 1st through to Dec 31st we just missed $50,000 in sales by a tiny $17.00. it was our first 12 month cycle and we were fairly happy with the results especially since we were still learning.
This Next 12 month cycle we hope to break $75,000 in sales for the same time period.
We also have wishes to keep our track record in feedback at a very high standard, not for the numbers game but so it can be a reflection to our customer service overall.
Look forward to hearing from some of our members.

No - all it says is that you're a natural! You have goals in your genes. 😉

I just started selling things so I would have some play money. But as it turned out, I'm selling more than I expected and all the funds have been just put back into the business to buy more stock.
I have to find a point in time to actually buy myself what I intended to get with the funds. But I just keep finding new things to sell.
So for me its not long or short. I already have a day job, if this turns sour, no biggie for me as I have not spent a cent of my own money yet in buying stock. I just started small with one item, selling two or three at a time, and gradually buying more and different items.
I will enjoy the ride while it lasts.
My 2c.

I've been selling for four years. I started out (as most seem to do) getting rid of stuff I no longer wanted. Then I started buying stuff I would read then sell. Then I started buying stuff I would sell without reading.
Bottom line - I decided to declutter; now I have several thousand more books in my shed than I had when I set my first goal.

Hide if you must, I have nothing to fear.(clears throat, coughs , splutters, throws up) Positive and negative opinions can only make you a better person.

Hi sillysillysheep 😄
My ebay goals are pretty simple really.. for a long time now I have wanted to be my own boss and set my own hours as I'm sick of having to make someone else rich with my "know how"...
in the last year I have had a baby girl so I had to take some time off work to take care of her (my partner luckly earns enough so I can stay at home).. Anyway I had a few bucks laying around and I did a lot of research in items that I use every day.. long story short, my store is very new and at the moment looks a little empty but it's acutally going really well 🙂 and once my new orders come in things will be even better! So my long term goal is to make enough to stay at home with my daughter.

good for you just kits.. enjoy the time with your daughter, they grow up so quick!
I see you have a category for Perfumes in your Store but havent listed any yet. Are you aware of the restrictions of selling perfume? you must first apply to Australia Post for a Dangerous Goods Licence, and quote that number in your listing / on your parcels as perfume has special regulations in the australian postal system.
check it all out before investing in Perfume stock.
