Stung by AusPost price hike ~ can I cancel sale?

Anyone else in this boat? I went to post a low value item today, only to find the postage had gone up by 50%. Almost wipes out the value of the item! Not sure if I can get out of sale though ... any advice?

I sold something today and i was notified by paypal it had been paid. As soon as I marked the item as posted I noticed it disappeared from my paid items list. I happened to go in my waiting payment list and saw the item there which had been refunded....
