I noticed when I click my EBay ID that it indicates I have one follower and I wondered what does that mean?

It means someone has saved you as a seller and will keep an eye on new listings, sales etc. Either they like the items you sell and want to possibly buy from you in future or they may be competitors keeping an eye on what you sell, qty. prices etc. If they have purchased from you before you can probably take it as a compliment, that they are interested in your business etc.. If no purchases, you can click on their ID and see what they sell and use advanced search to see what they buy. This will give you a better idea of why they may be following your site.

🙂 All good. It means that the "Follower" likes you. You have most likely sold / bought from them previously and they like you and your items. It's sorta like your Fanclub. 🙂

What exactly do you click on to find any followers? Thanks.

lol, I fluffed around too looking - but it is exactly where the OP says - just click on your own name - itty bitty writing underneath

Near as I can tell, following someone is actually a little different to saving them as a seller...
If mouse-over the 'Follow' button, this pops up: Follow to see this member's favourite items in your eBay feed.
So to follow someone means to pay attention to the things they do, not sell 😉 I'm not sure of everything it includes, but you see things like the collections they create. It's kind of taking a leaf out of another site's book, methinks (where you can 'favourite' a store, which is related to the items they sell, or 'follow' the member, which is related to seeing the treasuries they curate and things they favourite.

Thanks for that. I must be a doofus, as I can't find it anywhere!
