What does the hour glass mean for paypal?

A buyer bought 3 separate items on 13th march and she has gone through the checkout and next to that on my sold page is an hour glass, it says that the buyer marked payment sent on 15th march.

I have checked my paypal account and my bank account and there is no payment gone through for her.

I have tried to contact her, but she hasnt replied.

She has bought from me before and there wasnt any problems it was a straight out paypal payment.

It usually means someone has paid via an echeque and needs to clear before you send the item.

Log into PayPal and it will tell you if that's the case and don't send the item until PayPal say so.

Missed the part about having checked the account.

Check the PayPal email address in your listings to make sure it is precisely correct.

If not contact PayPal to have the payments transferred to your correct email addy

I just went into my paypal account and there is nothing there for her name, only the item she paid for before.

I will go check the address now.

If they completed checkout for payment by bank dep then you would have received an email from ebay to say they will pay by bank dep.

If they paid by echeque then you would have got an emails to say the payment is pending and it would show this in you PP account as well.

So if there is still no payment in a few days and still no contact then open non payer disputes and block them from buying from you again.

just went through the buyers feedback and the only f/back I left for her was when she bought an item and I left f/back on the 13th march.

She has 3 different items outstanding.
