I've had to return some poor-quality items to a seller. Paypal says I'll get a refund only after the seller accepts the package back from the post office.
I sent it by registered mail, the cost of which Paypal does not cover.
Anyone know if I have any recourse if the seller simply refuses to take the package?
The same thing happened years ago -- at that time, I was granted a refund when the seller refused to take the package.... but policies change quickly in the trial-and-error world of eBay and Paypal.

It wasn't so much that I've found the people at Paypal unpleasant, just rather inefficient. That was several years ago though, maybe they've improved their customer relations.

That is one thing I could not call paypal....I have found them to be very efficient. Maybe I was lucky or my problems were straight forward.

Years ago I had to call them several times to get them to unfreeze $150 from my account; it took months for them to do so.

Must admit I have never had a frozen account problem. The worst I have had to deal with was a very large amount of money being taken from my account twice when paypal glitched during the payment process.
I rang paypal, fully expecting a long drawn out process but I was told exactly what I needed to ask my bank in order to get the second payment released. I rang the bank, got the information and rang paypal again. I gave them the information and within minutes the second payment was released.
The whole process took less than 30 minutes from the time I discovered the double payment.
I have the feeling that had I ranted and raved at them I would not have had it sorted so quickly.
