Message i'm getting from eBay - "Update listings to comply with our photo policy and improve your chaces of selling". When I go to the info link, it says that the info page has been moved. I've been uploading photos in the same format for 5 years without problems so either there is a new 'rule' I don't know about or this is the usual Friday tinkering? Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks. I realised that after I posted. Condition description is in the body of the listing, so it looks like I'm going to keep the notice at the top of my page.

with the cond. description, it never shows in turbo lister, I always need to update if I am in the listing after uploading.
I do all the TL updates where is it in turbo lister pl? I cannot find it
also how do I move the order of my photos around in TL b4 uploading?
what is the watermark policy you are talking about? Tx

I clicked the link today and noted which listings eBay figured had images requiring an update - for each one they said that I needed to upload photos at least 500 pixels on the shortest side. Since I know each image I upload meets that requirement, I decided to see what would happen if I reloaded exactly the same images.... The notice disappeared, so in some cases it's obviously an error on eBay's side.

I'm getting notices for scanned pics, with minimal borders, roughly 900 x 1200. Same as I've been using for the last 2+ years.
I've asked them what is going on as I'm disinclined to have to edit listings for no reason.

I just want to get rid of the warrning messages - it's like a 'to do' list and makes my selling page 'untidy'.
I'll probably forever have the one about top rated plus (in which it's telling me I have to update all 196 listings), so it'd be nice to have an option like you get with most notifications on sites, within software etc, where you can tick a box to acknowledge it but ignore and get rid of it. A 'bugger off' tick box, basically.

My last page refresh had none of them. Even the 100% of your listings need to be updated for TRS+ one.
I suspect my email was in vain, as eBay don't seem to know what they require. I would be offended if this wasn't the modus operandi.

Haha difital*ghost - a 'bugger off' tick box. That's like the "remind me later" I get with most recommended software updates. I've been ignoring the top seller upgrade message too - no way is a 30 day return and free postage or whatever else they recommend appropriate for the sort of listings I run.

Thankfully, none of the messages have made a reappearance in My eBay; I'm not interested in offering 30-day returns, either. If a product of mine doesn't live up to scratch within 30 days, I'll be happy to do something about it (I even repaired something recently that I sold last year, at no cost to the buyer barring postage), but I think people can make up their mind about whether they want to keep something within a week or so of receiving it. 😉
