What should my ebay seller fee be?

I signed up for an ebay Anchor store on 18 July.

Because of low sales, I downgraded the subscription to ebay featured store on 6 August

In my understanding I should have to pay

14 Days/ 31 for July which equals 0.45 times 500=  $225

31 Days/31 for August which equals $500

Plus final value fees of $36

So the total should be  $761

Are my calculations correct?  The amount is to be deducted from my Paypal on 31 August and I need to know. Ebay have given me a value much higher

thank you

Re: What should my ebay seller fee be?

no one really knows what your fees should be. You will need to go to your dashboard to work out clearly what the amount should be and what you have or haven't been charged for.
Go to my ebay> mouse over the account tab>click on seller account.
From the page that comes up, on the right hand side where it says select invoice click on July's invoice when that invoice oopens you can scroll through it to see what you have/will be charged for. Do the same for August if you are able.

Re: What should my ebay seller fee be?

but your invoice you paid in July would have been from 17th June- 15th July?

If you don't agree with what is on the invoice you will have to ring ebay and ask them. You will find the number down bottom of the page help & copntact. From the options on the next page select account. go from there.

Re: What should my ebay seller fee be?

as harley says its going to be dificult whithout seeing all your invoices,  but i think where you are getting confused is , if you change your type of store in the middle of an invoice you must pay the full amount  for that month,   no diference to a foxtel bill and so and so.

sometimes because of the plan you will get a credit on the next following account.

I once changed a tv plan the next bill was in total minus 5 cents. and because i changed to another deparment , i kept getting for 3 years every month a credit invoice for 5 cents , after 8 phone calls i gave up.

yep crow , the problem was about 3 years of sending a credit bill of 5 cents every month , and all i did was not cancel but go to a different department of optus, then i went back to the origibal department and the 5 cents came off my first bill .

and i thought i would never get it  lol..

Re: What should my ebay seller fee be?

Optus once sent me a cheque for 3 cents when I cancelled my account with them and after a while phoned me to ask me to cash the cheque...no way as it would have cost me more than 3 cents in bank fees at the time so I binned it.

My local council rates one year were for $xxx.01 and they refused to round off the 1 cent ...this was after 1 and 2 cent coins went out of circulation... so I went in with a 2 cent coin and demanded my 1 cent change...after a fruitless search for a 1 cent coin they gave up and rounded off the 1 cent.

Commonsense aint that common anymore.

Re: What should my ebay seller fee be?

LOL  let me explain how mine started  ian.. i closed of one of my optus account  ,  then they sent me an account for 0.00 as i paid in full the last account , but they charged me 50 cents for paper invoice , yes thay sent my an invoice for zero but added the invoice amount of 50cents. so i did not pay this for months after i rang them ,but every month they would send me an invoice for 50 cents.

so again i ring uo and talk to a lets say his name was mr bombay.  he could not understand why i shoud not pay the stupid 50 cents,

so i said to him [mr bombay what if i come and cut your lawn ,but i dont come and send you an invoice fpr 0.00 but charch you $2 for invoice fee, he said you cant charge me $ 2 for invoice you did not cut my grass,   and i said to him do you know understand my bill.

after 30 minutes he understood. so i thought that would be it , but in the mail an invoice from optus taking of the 50 cents but a 5 credit remained as the gst fee they did not pay  so 3 years of 5 cent credit, i still dont know why i got the credit .mmmmm

Store subscriptions have a "Mandatory subscription period means the period between the subscription start date and the end of the first full calendar month of your current subscription"

If you already have sold goods prior to subscribing to the feature store, sellers continue on the billing cycle they were already on - either beggining of calendar month or in your case, mid month.

Still worth a call to eBay and see if you can negotiate your way out of that second month charge - on the basis that you thought that the billing cylce would change to the beggining of calendar month.
