Not sure what happed but guess ebay has made some changes on search results. My sales dropped about 50% recently. Anyone has noticed that?

It's the market, my sales are 25% what they should be.
That's in the B&M., on website and on E-bay.
Forget the aussie site, nothing comes thru there.

I have always noticed that sales are bit slow from the moment elections are announced; which normally is only about 4 weeks. Once the elections are over, regardless what happens people spend again; if I am right, we have a bit of wait for things to get better ๐

The sales have been so bad that I ended 940 items today (yes you heard right!) or almost half of all my listings. This has been the worst 7 days since I started selling many years ago.

Paul, what software did you use to build your website? The only thing stopping me from creating one is lack of desire to learn anything that would take forever to master.

I was interested to find a couple of my sellers 'elsewhere' on the net. Now, they hadn't told me but it was simply by using search engines and specific keywords that had me finding them. And their prices elsewhere are cheaper too - I guess because they aren't having to deal with the various fees associated with this place.

Me too. Appalling sales the past month. I've been thinking it's because everyone's broke (like me), but it can't be just that. Ive noticed that google isnt returning very good leads when i search forvmy listings. Anyone thought of trying myshopping to increase traffic?

I have found out why my sales dropped so quickly (it was all most stopped on yesterday). I have opened a new topic here: http://community.ebay.com.au/topic/Selling/Ebay-Removed-Womens/500163933

I'm a buyer. I often have to use auctions to get the Out-Of-Production things I want. When I have a page of auction search results in front of me the column second from the right (normally Time Left) often displays "Ended", even if there might be 14 minutes or 47 seconds to go (examples). There are page after page of auctions noted as "Ended". eBay, in its capacity as an auction site, has an obligation to not state that an auction in progress has "Ended", only when it actually has. I have no idea why this is considered an "improvement", it's just annoying and turning me off browsing the auctions. I'm waiting until it's returned to normal. It looks the same from the US (after I signed on there). I have noted other buyer's complaints, and there is a list, but this is the one I consider most important.

Hi Kustom, feel free to message me, and you can have a look at our website. Its free to set up, very easy to navigate, and lots of add on features ($$$), but worthwhile. The website for a whole year comes in under $400, and you do not even have to spend that much. Paul
