Your thoughts are well founded MB.

As honest individuals we assume others are of the same.

That is the nature of the clever deceptions, praying on the naive, and those that give credit to honesty.

More dishonest money for eBay,stubborn_smiley_by_mirz123-d4bt0te_zps12f1a5a3.gif

You do have to wonder how a company can have no regard for their members when they keep allowing this and

other carp listing just so they can make some dishonest money, shok.gif

This seed seller has sold other fake seeds in the past : 131230222422 they have already sold 246 of them.

There is a variety of different ones: http://www.fruitmould.com/

Online sites are a laughing stock on gardening forums as they all allow fake seeds to be sold on their sites, tease.gif

With those instructions, a feedback score of only 98.5% and over 4,000 neg, neut and revised feedback I can't believe anyone would be daft enough to buy from them unless they thought they would get some more of the inventive instructions which are cheaper to get a laugh from than buying a book of jokes.

The ol' "Baby buddha pears" with pictures of moulded pears have been on Ebay for yearsssss...

And Ebay has been supporting their unethical advertising / listings / pictures for years by doing nothing.

The pears were actually in the news once, long ago, when someone was discussing Ebays dodgy ways.  Ebay didnt even lift an eyebrow let alone remove the listings.

Blue melon too.

That is interesting, I had a bad experience too, they have not been trained to manage eBay sales/problems.

The problem joe is that the listings do not make it clear the seeds WILL NOT grow & produce shaped fruit - you need to have the moulds and there is no mention of them.  Buyers will not understand that. Did you look at the link tazz posted - quite interesting actually.

To be perfectly honest, I thought the whole entire thing was a scam until someone pointed out that you can actually grow fruit that way, that's how naive I am Smiley Embarassed.  However, I do still believe the listing is misleading and therefore should not be allowed - unless the seeds are supplied with the moulds.  And anyway - I don't believe the seeds would be allowed into the country (assuming they are duly declared as seeds) - who knows what diseases they might be carrying that could harm our agriculture.

It's a bit like the coloured flowers - they are only coloured if you sit the cut flower in dyed water.  Lol I actually knew about that trick as I had blue carnations & other blue flowers in my wedding bouquets over 35 years ago !!  That trick has been around a long time.

Hahahaha, yes I saw the bag of air and couldn't help but think, we've all got a lot of hot air - we could all be making a motza !!!!     Smiley LOL
