I approach it like this.
If I can add something...I might. If only to show anyone thinking of asking a question that they will get a nice enough response.
Yes I know who asked, but what I say is just as much for anyone else who reads the question.

My mother always told me never to gamble any more than I can afford to lose.
I apply this advice to what I choose to sell on eBay, and as such would sell an 18ct gold watch somewhere that once I have the funds, I am assured I'll get to keep them.

Perhaps erg members need to be reminded that you use the boards to advertise your store, you have asked this exact same question before and without a doubt you or your other eBay "friends" know the answer to your question.
Here's last weeks outing of your underhand tactics to self-promote on your "shoe" thread.........................

I'm not sure what the OPs motives are, but if this incessant posting of questions with dubious merit is an advertising campaign, it's a very poorly thought-out and implemented one. ๐
Consider that these are the eBay discussion boards - no one comes here to look for items they want to buy, well almost no one, sometimes people post about that sort of thing on the buying board but it's typically after extensive searching hasn't been able to turn up what they want, so by now it should be clear that no one here is all that interested in the listings.
The OP doesn't even post on the sub-forum dedicated to all things auto, where anyone who goes there might actually have an interest in their listings, nor do they seem at all interested in actually establishing a decent rep as someone who knows what they're talking about instead of someone who needs constant help doing the simplest of things like googling something.
No, all these threads are showcasing something, but it aint the store.

now, some may view this post as non-serious, but rest assured I am being serious here.
I think you should put your watch on your smelly_bum_bum . . . . . . account ID that is!
You have a selling history on that ID which is well established with a feedback count of 216 . . . . with 244 feedback having been received, 27 for selling.
You have experience selling automotive items on your erg ID. On your smelly_bum_bum ID you have sold a variety of items without specialising in any one type of item. Your uncle's ID, which you have said that you manage, has a high feedback count selling automotive items. Surely you can pick which of these three accounts on which to sell non-automotive items without having to come here to boards to ask?
Alternatively, you could choose from your other IDs once they have established an eBay feedback reputation. You know them, the other ones you have also used to post on these boards!

People! He's not selling his watch!
It's free advertising for his store AGAIN
------------------
No doubt you are correct, but has the guy got rocks in his head?
I clicked on his listings and they are amongst the most boring stuff I have ever seen on ebay (admittedly that's a very personal opinion)
But really, if anyone is trying to sell little round metal thingies, making a post about gold watches or other jewellery of interest just to suck us in to look is not going to cut the mustard.
He needs to advertise to the right clientele.

even if I needed a watch an item he was selling I probably would not buy from him. I say this because I don't like his reputation. By reputation I mean the way that I view his character.
I have formed an opinion of him based on his posting on these boards, especially his replies to others, and it is not one that would encourage me to buy from him. I would certainly look elsewhere.
I also imagine that others feel the same way AND that the OP knows this . . . . . which is why I do not think he is posting to advertise. He has another motive or reason, and I think that the reason centres around the attention he receives. Kinda reminds me of kuro.

You are right about that slr....same way of abusing those who have tried to help him and reporting everyone who he sees as being "against" him. Very paranoid, IMO.
